Top musicians are among the best paid entertainers in the world. But how much do they get paid compared to ordinary jobs is an eye-opener.
Using Forbes’ 25 richest musicians of 2017 as a reference, this infographic compared top musicians’ earnings to ordinary jobs. This included some of the most common jobs in the US such as teachers, truck drivers, real estate brokers, software developers, and of course, minimum wage workers.
As per the data, the world’s richest musicians make the annual salaries of all these workers in hours rather than weeks. Beyonce, one of the world’s most prominent entertainers, made a minimum wage worker’s annual salary in just 75 minutes.
The Chainsmokers, who are quite new on the music circuit, made a software developer’s annual salary in under 24 hours.
This just highlights the big difference there is between top musicians and ordinary workers. Read the full infographic below to get a better idea of this huge income gap.
