Moving into a new apartment home? Great! Before you move in, make sure you brush up on your apartment etiquette so you can be a good neighbor.
First, if are living in a pet-friendly apartment, make sure your pets are under control. Excessive messes or loud barking are not apartment-friendly.
Next, make sure you aren’t too noisy. Your radio, music, TV and parties should be kept at a reasonable volume.
If your apartment has community laundry, stay with your laundry and remove it from the machines as soon as it is done. Others may be waiting.
In community areas, pick up when you are done. Remember, others want to enjoy the space too. This includes the parking area and grounds!
Finally, if the community has a pool, be aware of and always follow any pool rules. If it says to rinse before you enter or to leave your cell phone behind, and follow the guidelines.
