STDs are becoming very common across the globe. There are nearly millions of new STD cases are reported and diagnosed in the US alone. It is worth noting that almost half of the cases are seen among young people who fall between the age group of 15 to 24. Alaska has the highest number of cases at a whopping 1,144 cases per 100,000 population. Alaska is followed by Mississippi, Louisiana, South Carolina, and New Mexico.
Symptoms of STDs do not exhibit early. However, it is always a good sign to watch out for symptoms like the urge to urinate, fever, and weight loss as it may be an indication of an active STD.
