The cancer Centre at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia has been making breakthroughs in pediatric cancer research since 1969. The average child diagnosed with cancer is only 10 years old. 1 in 300 children will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they’re 20 years old. Every year 10,400 children under the age of 15 are diagnosed with cancer.
